I bought this to replace an older pan, fed up of the so called non stick coatings this looked unusual and promises a strong scratch resistant non stick coating.

Washed it after buying the pan, threw and egg in with no oil and it worked perfectly not a sign of any sticking to the pan. I've since been using this for a few weeks and to date it's working well. A few points to note though:

1: It does say to take some care ie avoid sharp forks or cutting on the pan
2: Some dishwasher detergents might not agree with the pan (I've had problems with other makes I say avoid the dishwasher entirely)
3: Oven proof up to 150 degrees and it is I tested it handle doesn't melt and the pan isn't damaged in any way

Cleaning is very easy give it a rinse and wipe with a cloth, don't use any harsh pads or items like that there is no need anyway. I would also suggest as does the maker to "let it cool down" before washing it I don't think a rapid temperature change from hot to cold helps any pan longer term. Base is very solid feeling and thick warping has been an issue on some pans I've had in the past I'd be surprised if this had any problems solid beast of a base on it, handle is also comfy and heat resistant.

Any drawbacks? Aside from the white speckled look (which is fine by me) it remains to be seen how "tough" the non stick coating is. So far it's held up well but it's early days yet it does seem more resistant to damage than a normal Teflon coating, but I'd still use some care on the surface and follow the makers guidelines. Heat distribution is quite and even across the pan, price isn't bad either for a "decent" frying pan I've used it without oil for quite a few items steak, sausages, eggs and stir fry mixes though a little oil is useful at times you can cut it down to a minimum. A thumbs up so far from me

All the Youtube videos are indeed accurate. I used this pan last night and made two omelettes WITH NO OIL OR BUTTER for the very first time without using either one and they was literally perrrrrfect. The quality and taste was much better and the omelettes just slide straight out the pan to plate when they are cooked. I have yet to experiment with this pan with other foods, But first impressions was great. I bought this mostly for omelettes. Its SO SO easy to clean also. When I finished the second omelette it was almost like it hadn't been used, No food was clung to the pan. Strong quality build to this pan, its hard wearing and feels heavy in hand like its going to last years.

If you are like me and you was skeptical about the promises JML made for this pan, OR worried about getting value for money with paying £25 for a pan BUT you want or need a new pan and love cooking THEN PLEASE buy this pan and you wont be disappointed

I use these pans to cook eggs, chicken, sausages, homemade burgers, steaks etc, never had to put any oil in them at all and the food tastes fantastic. I let it cool and wash it, in fact I could probably clean it under a running tap. I would recommend these to anyone.... If your food tastes different it's because it's not covered in oil !

Like all non-stick pans, it's brilliant when brand new. But I found that the two Regis Stone pans I bought lasted around four months before things started to stick, just like most regular non-stick pans.

The coating on these pans was certainly more scratch-resistant than usual, but it did become less durable after a few months.

Ultimately, these were no better than the similar but widely available Tefal pans (which I only buy as being the best of a bad lot) but cost more. Unless you can find discounted package deals for them and get free p&p then don't bother. If the price was lower, I'd have awarded these a distinctly average three stars.

I tried to cook and egg with no oil and it stuck to the pan...I then cooked an egg with a smearing of oil and it worked ok....I have also tried bacon/onions with no oil and they stuck badly...and an omlette with no oil ( had to throw it away)...so it would seem that a little oil is best for " non stick" cooking...no improvement on ordinary non stick pans which can be bought for a lot cheaper

I took care of it, washed it properly, no drastic temperature changes, no dishwasher, used the best plastic utensils, I almost sang to it ... And after all this it still betrayed me by destroying my fried eggs!!! I gave it the best days of my life

It does do very much what is says, but not for very long, I think the price if it had a reasonable useable time would be fine, but it works out around £8.00 per month on a few times a week usage. I followed all cleaning instruction and treated it well my view RUBBISH.
