It does what it says on the tin. You get a potted history which I have found to be pretty good in all of the "History in a hour" books that i've read.
I hope there's more of these books in the pipeline. I really enjoy them.

Easy and concise history, the time line at the back if the book alongside key points of the main characters was ideal. Great introduction to the subject. Maybe could be enhanced within the book of other recommended reading.
I'll definitely look at other titles in this series.

I find these 'History in an hour' books very interesting. The contents whilst only superficial, as intended, do give a very good potted version of the subject, which enables the reader, to seek more detailed information on the subject if it interests them.

Enjoyed this book and learnt a lot about the family of Americas 35th President. The book mainly focused on the Kennedy Family but gave little about the politics of the man which was disappointing. Worth a look to anyone curious about JFK

After reading into the life of JFK, I endeavored to find a concise chronology of his life and efforts to which I found with this excellent text. My only complaint is that I wish there were more upon his time in office, however short it unfortunately was.

I will be buying more from the History In An Hour range and would recommend it to anyone with even a small amount of interest in the broad subject matters the series covers.

This really made me want to find out more about JFK.It IS short and literally only takes about an hour to read ,but there's a lot packed in there, his childhood, sibling rivalry and his dominant father.A compasionant man who did nt even want to be president. And the mystery suurounding his death and the death of his alledged murderer. A very good read ,recommended.

I found this guide to JFK to be an extraordinary introduction and brief overview of his life. This book is excellent for those, like me, who are interested in this particular topic but have never explicitly looked into it. The whole series of 'History in a Hour' is excellent and the concept is ingenious.
