This is a typical Japanese eye shadow. They favor a highlighter look (shimmery and light) that opens up an eyelid rather than contour it. So this is fair skin colored and not dark at all. It comes in a tiny compact and you need a separate brush for it in your makeup bag. The case is a small work of art; a 3cm square of polished acrylic with an abstract design in purple, black and a touch of seafoam green. #03 is a mid coppery peach and yeah, it has shimmer and a small amount of larger glitter (fewer pieces of glitter) in it. It can be applied and then wet with your finger on your lid to make a "foil" effect.
A simple and fast way to use this shadow is to dust it all over your eyelid up to the browbone and use a dark, sharp eye pencil just on the lashline. If you blend the pencil (a soft one) up into the corners, you have a very good eye makeup, not too over done for work and easy to touch up. Your makeup bag would only need the pencil, a brush and this eye shadow.
If you don't like light, pearlized shadows, this probably wouldn't be for you. The price is a bit more than Shu Uemura shadow (very similar but many more colors.) However you do not need to buy the separate compact, so it's a bit less in actuality.
The Japonesque does not come with a foam brush by the way.
