I thought this story would've been better, though it was still good. The first part was pretty boring to be honest and whilst there were a few funny lives half way through, it definitely wasn't hilarious. Loved the ending. If ur looking for a truly funny story though, try 'can u keep a secret?' By Sophie Kinsella and Tuesday's Child by Louise Bagshawe. U won't regret it!

Loved this. It was a not too taxing read that made me laugh. I was immediately hooked in to the story and really liked the character of Delia and thought her situation was very sympathetically portrayed. The witty parts were excellent and Delia's boss was a brilliant character- everyone has worked with someone like him. I think this writer really knows how to hook you in and keep you reading and I am very pleased I got this.

at first, a bit hard to read, as there's A LOT of literary imagery, which makes your mind do backflips, but after you get used to the way Mhairi writes you really start enjoying the book. Overall, a good read
