Product Description

About the Author

Carol Marinelli recently filled in a form asking for her job title. Thrilled to be able to put down her answer, she put writer. Then it asked what Carol did for relaxation and she put down the truth - writing. The third question asked for her hobbies. Well, not wanting to look obsessed she crossed the fingers on her hand and answered swimming but, given that the chlorine in the pool does terrible things to her highlights – I’m sure you can guess the real answer.

Margaret Mayo says most writers state they've always written and made up stories, right from a very young age. Not her! Margaret was a voracious reader but never invented stories, until the morning of June 14th 1974 when she woke up with an idea for a short story. The story grew until it turned into a full length novel, and after a few rewrites, it was accepted by Mills & Boon. Two years and eight books later, Margaret gave up full-time work for good. And her love of writing goes on!

Catherine George was born in Wales, and early on developed a passion for reading which eventually fuelled her compulsion to write. Marriage to an engineer led to nine years in Brazil, but on his later travels the education of her son and daughter kept her in the UK. And, instead of constant reading to pass her lonely evenings, she began to write the first of her romantic novels. When not writing and reading she loves to cook, listen to opera, and browse in antiques shops.

These three stories are excellent for lovers of romantic fiction. Although the Italian (and Greek) heroes are usually a bit too full on these weren't that bad. Yes they were arrogant but showed a more caring side also so didn't grate too much. Not overloaded with sexual content, which is good, for my preferred taste, so, overall, very good reading. Spelling and grammar excellent, as with most Mills and Boon books. Can't really fault these.

The first and third books did it for me. Wasn't a sleek on number two, but it is a question of the taste of the reader. I would certainly recommend this for anyone wanting a light romantic read.
