These gloves do two jobs in one. Firstly they keep your hands warm and secondly allow you to use your touchscreen device. This is good and all but there are two things that have to be said:

a) They are not fully waterproof but are slightly water repellent. Not a big issue as you wouldn't use your iphone in a rain storm anyway.

b) They are not multi-touch capable ONLY thumb & forefinger use like in the product photo. So if you don't use heating in winter and you wan't to use your multi-touch macbook i'm afraid you'll have to take your gloves off.

They are the only cons to this excellent product as the material is of top grade stuff. They are woolly warm with a nice bit of stretch due to the 5% lycra so they fit nice and snug.

If you really want to convert these gloves to full-on ten digit multi-touch gloves then you can always buy some conductive thread and sow the seams onto the fingertips yourself although the thread is uber expensive so I settled for these gloves and don't regret it one bit!!!

4 out of five stars. Minus 1 for not being multi-touch ready. If you don't use multi-touch then you can't go wrong with these excellent gloves. Highly recommended!

No glove is going to give you the accuracy that a finger would, but these gloves have changed the way I feel about using my devices outdoors. Whatever the weather, I can use my phone and tablet without worrying about cold or wet hands. The gloves fray a little but a needle soon sorted that out. They fit very well, stretching over my large hands but the cuff prevents them from working their way off my hands. All in all, a very good glove for this sort of use and I'd recommend them.

I wasn't sure how good these gloves would be but they work remarkably well. Out for a hillwalking on a cold day and didn't need to take my gloves off to use the phone and take photos and type messages and do blogs. No issues and nice warm hands and fingers.

It's cold but I still wont to use my iPhone - solution, SmarTouch, OK, not the slinkiest of names but a really useful by-product for smart phones or in my case the iPhone.

As many reviews point out, it's only the thumb and forefinger that allow for the conductivity required to "touch" screens NOT all fingers. There's a few complaints about not being waterproof - well OK, these are more of your wooly/lycra kinda gloves, good for keeping hands warm and occasionally bringing them out to answer the phone or text - perhaps not useful in the swimming pool.

Personally I think they are the classic hybrid - good winter gloves plus good for my using my phone when needed on a cold day. Don't think you can go too far wrong; just get the right size as with any glove purchase (no need to compensate specifically - Small, Medium or Large when ordering...)

Enjoy!

NB/ 5 stars is " I Love Them", not sure I'd go that far but certainly, 5 Stars, "Very Practical and Well Worth a Punt"

These do the job when it comes to the touch screen, but not as well as other gloves I have seen/used. They are warm, but my wife's started coming unraveled on one of the fingers after wearing them a few times. We have found a different brand that I prefer for smartouch.

Not the warmest pair of gloves ever, but certainly keep hands warm enough to be able to use your phone on a cold day. The fingertip special wool works pretty well and allows you to use a touchscreen well. Only issue is occasionally not touching the correct icon on a screen (iPhone in my case) because wearing a glove slightly changes the curvature of your fingertip. You get used to that quite quickly. I will get another pair at some point as a spare.

Bought this for Christmas for my other half last year for walking the dog. They really do work and saves having to take your gloves off every time the phone rings. Good vale and a great stocking filler.

I had a pair of different capacitive gloves last year, but lost one of them. I decided to give these ones a try.

Compared to the pair I had last year, I was quite amazed as to how accurate these ones are on a smartphone. They are also worn and comfortable.
