“Damn her for being the one he could never forget. And the one he was destined to destroy.”
I am not a huge paranormal reader, I even body swerved it at any and every opportunity before I became addicted to anything that Amy Bartol penned thanks to a friend that strong armed me to read it, but sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit you were wrong.
I have followed Ella Frank from the beginning, an author I stumbled across thanks to an Amazon recommendation and I have never looked back. Ella Frank has turned her hand to many genres and in my opinion she has excelled in all of them, I have to put my hands up and say is there anything that Ella Frank cannot write? This is one author whose writing style I can connect with, Ella Frank never fails to draw me into her stories and her characters. She always nails character connection to the point where I personally am totally immersed in their life and feel like I am living it, that is an amazing talent to have and not many authors can pull it off.
“Se empistevome. I trust you.”
I loved the first book in this series, Alasdair, and I was eagerly anticipating reading Isadora. I had become so immersed in this world of vampires that Ella Frank had painstakingly created that I didn’t want to leave and the next book could not come soon enough. So, when Isadora hit my kindle I was buzzing with anticipation, after the ending of Alasdair I needed to dive in and so I did.
“I believe it was a footprint of sorts. A moment imprinted in time.”
Once again it did not take long to be whisked away into Ella’s world of our incredibly hot Greek God sired vampires.Read more ›
Going into this book Vasilios was my favorite but by the end they were all my favorites. I soaked up all of their stories like a sponge... I could not get enough!!! I loved learning about their pasts and what made them tick.
The beginning completely sucks you in and has you wanting answers. The hysterical banter that I love so much about Ella's books is back tenfold in this book!!
Elias!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Elias in this book!!! LOVE HIM! The feelings Isadora and Elias were trying to fight .... Let's just say when they gave in it was combustible! I adore these two!!! Add in Diomêdês's watchful eye and you get off the charts scorching hot inferno! Fan!! Fan needed!!
Alisdair/Leo/ Vasilios .... Could these three get any hotter?!?! I got such a kick out of the banter between the three of them! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!!! When Vasilios put Alasdair's concerns to rest and Alastair finally excepted the "holy Trinity" without hesitation.... Sigh! The alter scene.... Enough said!
Last but not least Thanos and Eton. MY HEART IS BROKEN! Just broken! I NEED Thanos's book STAT!!!! Will I survive until March 15th?!?!?! My heart needs to be put back together!!Read more ›
Another great read in the Masters Among Monsters series, this is the 2nd book and they do need to be read in order, this one continued straight on from where book1 left off.
I really thought that book 2 would concentrate more on Isadora and maybe have m/f scenes, but whilst Isadora's story is brought in much more, I was pleasantly surprised when the existing story carried over perfectly ....continuing with the Vasilios, Alasdair and Leonodis triangle. I love their chemistry along with the mystery and intrigue.
The mystery surrounding Leo, Elias and Paris is brilliant and slowly unfolds, however as we get some answers other questions arise which keeps your curiousity going throughout.
I love a good paranormal read and this series doesn't fail to please, it's a great addictive read, which leaves you eagerly waiting for the next book, I cant wait to see how it all unfolds.
