Irons 3 is the final book in M.J. Fields Norfolk Series. This is the book with all the answers to the questions that were raised in the first two books. I absolutely LOVED this book!!! This book was still mixed with some mystery but as the story all unfolds it all starts to make sense. I am truly happy with the way this series ended and that Jax and Frankie got everything they truly wanted and deserved.
M.J. Fields knows how to create a story that sucks you in and has you invested in all the characters. I have loved Jax from the very beginning but I also love all the characters she gave us. (with the exception of a few, Mimi, Jax's mom and Arthur) Ms. Fields truly knows how to write an Alpha Male!!! I felt many different emotions throughout this book and series. I felt sad, frustrated, angry, love, but in the end the overall feeling I had was happy. I finished reading this book with a huge smile on my face :) This like all the other books, is a fast paced book and moves really quick. Each of these books can be read in under a day. The writing in my opinion was great!!
Frankie and Jax truly had a lot of ups and downs throughout this series, but I was so glad to see everything work out for them. What I also liked was that even though this book gave us all the answers we needed, Ms. Fields was still able to keep us guessing and throw in some twists here and there.
I really don't know what else to say, except…. READ THIS SERIES!!! If you like a book that will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat, then you'll want to read these books. Also if you are a fan of an Alpha Males, then you need to meet not only Jax, but Titan and Shadows ;) But not only do these books have great Heroes, Frankie was an amazing heroine. She was fragile without appearing overly weak, and she truly followed her heart and went after what she wanted….JAX!!!! She is truly one of my favorite heroines. I look forward to reading more books by M.J. Fields and I would love to read more about Titan and Shadows!!!! Fingers Crossed ;)
As this series comes to a close, we get answers to the questions we've been having from the first two books. We get to watch as Frankie becomes a solid foundation for Jax. MJ is a fantastic story teller, she weaves an intricate story, that keeps you guessing until the very end. I love the writing.
I've recommended this series before and I'll recommend it again. If you're looking for a good military read, this is the one to get.

This is the third and final book in the Iron trilogy of the Norfolk Series by MJ Fields. We have been following the story of Jax Irons and Frankie Cruz-Irons as they battle strong political forces and find a love that will carry them through the tough times to come.
I have enjoyed watching Frankie become a strong confident woman. She is ready to fight for Jaxon and fight along-side of him no matter what he chooses to do with his life. Frankie is an excellent heroine and perfect match for the sometimes stubborn and over bearing Jaxon. This story quickly became about the strength one finds in love. Whether that is love of a parent, love of a child or the passionate love of a mate, love is the glue that makes us all stronger. I was happy to see Jaxon blossom under the love he receives. He is a better man because he believes in the power of love verses the love of power that generations of his family have reinforced.
The author does an amazing job untangling all the lies and deceit we have seen through books 1 and 2. Ultimately, the bad guys are still bad and the reader champions the good guys to prevail. My only wish for the book is that it was a bit longer! Things seemed to all of a sudden wrap up and I was left wanting just a bit more. I will miss this family and would like to see where they end up. There is a nice teaser for Shadows at the end of this story. I am sure we will see the Irons family through Shadow’s eyes as the series moves in a different direction.
This is not a stand-alone novel. You will need to read Irons #1 and #2 first in order to understand the situations. Overall a good read!
