The bothersome aspect of the book is that the information is mostly cut and paste articles from other sources, which are fine in and of themselves, but Neil Daniels adds really nothing extra to them by way of personal commentary and/or personal experiential research it seems.
To be sure he does compliment the band when due and raises questions that lead into the next chapter or area but nothing of real weight.
The other bothersome thing is there are glaring mistakes in the book that, as a fan of the band almost to the exclusion of other bands, I said "almost", are untenable. If research is going to be done, an homage paid, a tribute offered, to the greatest, IMHO, band in the world, past, present, future, please make sure that your research documentation is fully accurate before you publish.
Overall though, I am glad I purchased this book. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to get to know the band better.
