A friend of mine had this title on order from amazon for 8 months last year (they were buying it for me) before being told they couldn't obtain it. I contacted them myself asking for them to confirm this, only to be told 'if it's on the system we can order it for you'. After trying to re-order it they again said they couldn't get it! I got infuriated when they repeated their 'if it's on the system we can order it' line and said they should take it off the system. Today I got recommended it!
My advice... amazon have been very good at obtaining books and delivery, but if there is ever a problem, they don't know they're *rse from their elbow. Order this book somewhere else.
(P.S. I've now read this book, borrowing it from a friend...it is a very interesting read and has a good detailed history of Ueshiba which I've never found elsewhere. Although you generally have to take John Stevens with a pinch of salt this book doesn't go over the top with 'the amazing feats of Ueshiba' or the overly religious rubbish he often spouts).

This book is a marvel. It has shown me the true path of an Aikidoist. This book tells the story of O'Sensi and what he went through to become a true worrior. This book explains many of the questions I have had for some time. I would recommend this book to anyone studying Aikido.

I have spent a great deal of time reading books and articals on Aikido. None have given me the insight that this book has.. If you injoy this art and are looking for a deeper under standing of Aikido, you will find it here.
