Invicta 13838 - Don’t be fooled by its stoic appearance, this Specialty timepiece from Invicta bustles beneath the surface! Strike an unassuming pose with the round black stainless steel case. Supporting case coordinating function pushers and a coin edged push/pull crown, this Specialty has you covered. The black fixed bezel resides discreetly atop the case displaying an unwavering partnership. A vigorous Japanese TMI VD51 Quartz Chronograph movement performs flawlessly so you’re never off track. Settled below a Flame Fusion crystal, the round black carbon fiber dial places efficiency before extravagance. Featuring a 60-seconds chronograph subdial below 12:00 and an extensive 60-minute subdial above 6:00, this Specialty keeps up with you no matter the length of time. Purple luminous Tritnite index markers take a turn around the dial at all hour positions while the purple hour, minute and subdial hands assert themselves with silver-tone trim. Purple Arabic numerals accented in black line the dial with uncomplicated clarity. A date window situates near 3:00 and the noteworthy Invicta name and logo feature prominently near 9:00. This Specialty comes together with a black polyurethane strap and a stainless steel buckle clasp etched with the Invicta logo. Holding tight, the flexible strap secures with two black strap keepers. Molded into each strap near the case, the Invicta name establishes itself with restrained dignity. Tapering ever so slightly from 24mm to 22mm, the strap fits a wrist up to approximately 9-1/2”. Looks much more expensive than the price paid although not sure about whether the retail price would be as high as stated, in a shop on the high street
I have watches that I have bought for 10 times the value of this one and I would say that, side by side, it holds it's own for looks and finish. Has a Japanese movement, not Swiss, which goes towards the lower price I guess
Having had 2 Invicta watches now, I continually watch the site for newly priced pieces from them and wouldn't hesitate in buying another one in the future.
Good Value Watch with quality to match.
The thickish rubber strap is extremely comfortable too and apart from the slight weight of the watch (which is a good thing) I barely recognise that I'm wearing it. Only a few days ago I left it on by mistake and went swimming, but it worked fine underwater as advertised. For quality, solidness (stainless steel I believe) and value, this watch is a must! Buy it now and wear it for informal or even formal occasions.
That said, for the money, it is a very decent price. The packaging is first rate and looks very posh. It would make a great gift.
The watch is a very good looking timepiece, it does not look cheap (although it does not look like a £290 watch) and is a nice solid weight.
I am happy with the purchase and wear the watch most days. A few people have admired it as well.
Also, it tells the time.
I've only just received it so this review is based on first impressions only.
It looks fantastic.....much nicer than the picture.
It's a great weight and feels good on the wrist.
Showed it to a friend of mine who thought I'd paid 2 or 3 hundred pounds for it.......£42.50 ?......bonkers !
If you like watches.....I normally like Storm Watches ( not a watch snob, I just buy watches to match my clothes lol)......then I'd buy yourself one of these.
At this price what's not to like ?
