How can the UK and other advanced countries get back to sustained and equitable growth? This is a great book that pulls together the year long work of a stellar group of policy makers, business people and academics. Britain has long-failed to invest effectively in infrastructure, human capital and innovation. A big part of this is due to short-termism in the public and private sectors. They provide some radical policy solutions to shake up the education system, revolutionise the way big infrastructure decisions are made on transport, energy and housing and reform Britain's failing system of finance for innovation. A must-read for anyone who is serious about supply side reforms to get reduce inequality and increase productivity.

A very well researched look at how the UK and other advanced countries can make it back to sustained growth. This book details the work of a talented group of academics, policy makers and business people and suggests some radical policies that the UK should be looking at. An excellent informative read, especially thought provoking as we head into election season....
