Very thorough, extremely well explained, perfect book for anyone getting into aviation engineering. Covers every aspect of engineering to give you a perfect foundation and basic-intermediate understanding. There are relevant examples to go along with each equation/concept which are very useful for getting practice. This book is not like your typical textbook with dull explanations - Anderson adds personality to the writing which makes for much more enjoyable reading.

Great book with everything about flying and the underlying physics, however the quality of the paper in the paperback book I got is rather cheap, and does not look like the book you are going to keep and use for a long time

Pretty detailed "introduction" I must say! It will serve the needs of children who are interested in flight, to aerospace engineering students at uni!
