There are so few good publications on paint technology and many of those are getting out of date. With the advances in coatings, from nano-technology to thick films and involving a wider range of materials than ever, this book is right up to date and is inclusive in detail. As with the previous edition, it also has a first-rate introduction into the essential chemistry and physics of coating materials which allows for a better understanding of all aspects of paint and ink applications, whatever the previous knowledge of the reader.
