Format: Audio CD
This 2007 EP/single from Los Campesinos! consists of three tracks:

1) The International Tweexcore Underground
2) C Is The Heavenly Option
3) Police Story

None of these songs have appeared on any of Los Campesinos' albums thus far and tracks two and three are covers of songs originally by Heavenly and Black Flag respectively. The title track is a solid example of the quirky indie-pop that Los Campesionos! do so well which means if you like their other material you'll most likely enjoy this too.

Of more interest are the covers which give the band the opportunity to play about with other people's material. 'C is the Heavenly Option' is a nice little cover but ultimately isn't too much of a departure for the band as the song was already twee (in a good way) and poppy. Police Story is a different kettle of fish altogether, the band have a decent stab at emulating Black Flag's DIY ethos in their own little way, producing an angry, lo-fi and punkish track that works remarkably well whilst still maintaining a distinct Los Campesinos! feel.

This EP will probably appeal most to completists who already have their other material but as long as it's being sold at a reasonable price I'd also recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of the band before investing in their other releases.
