This works fine, but it only supports the 2.4GHz band (and Bluetooth as well). It's not really the fault of the supplier, but Intel who have a number of these cards, all model number 7260, but with different capabilities. If you want the latest 7260 card, look for one with the "AC" suffix.

The reason I bought this was to use the intel wiDi, recently bought a HP Split which I thought was WiDi capable but the wifi card wasn't compatable, after reading lots of negative reviews about this card and hp's bios blocking I thought for less than a tenner i'd give it ago, well for me with windows 8 it was recognised immediately and working before I even got to click on the wifi network, all I had to do was enter the password and the computer acted as if it wasn't ever changed.

More importantly intel's wiDi drivers now detect this device and can get it working!

not sure if the speeds are faster/slower than the Broadcom supplied card, but it works well for what I wanted it for

+ Cheap for price
