About the Author
With 20 years previous experience as an estate agent (realtor) under his belt, Stefan Thomas (UK), ditched his red braces and followed his passion for people. I can't express my excitement when I secured a new role and within it, a significant part of it is networking. My first action was to buy and devour this amazing book.
Stefan's passion and clarity of communication makes him the perfect person to learn from. Whether you have yet to attend a networking meeting or you have been doing it for decades this book offers so many practical tips I guarantee you will learn or be reminded of something that will take you onto another level.
Ultimately I discovered I was wrong, networking is so key to anyone's working life that whether you are attending networking meetings or building your network online this book has tips to share, and we all network whether we realise it or not...
So do yourself a favour, pick this book up, you won't regret it
I could leave it there. It's simply THE book you need to read to make business networking work in 2016.
The simple thing is that if you do everything in this book you WILL get more business out of networking... You just will.
Stefan is an expert in business networking and this simple but highly effective roadmap for your networking is a great read and a must for anyone who networks for their business or company.

If you are an experienced "Networker", it is useful reminder on some of the basics and good practices.
I particularly liked the "Silent Social Network" name.
Subtitled, “The simple way to build your business network and see results in just 6 months,” looks at networking not from the traditional viewpoint of exchanging business cards, but of growing your personal network. The book covers, why “instant” networking, putting together your networking toolkit, thinking differently about networking, finding the right networking events, making networking events work for you, following up, how to instantly win on social media, standing out on LinkedIn and joining it all up.
This is full of useful advice, especially if you run your own business. It encourages you to really push forward your business profile. However, it is also perfectly valid for other situations – whether at work or just in social situations. A really interesting book about creating a network and really utilising social media.
