I bought this laptop for its high spec, so it was easy not to be disappointed as it does what it says on the tin. I've had no problems with it, but I do wonder about the quality of electronic equipment in general, as the push towards lower prices and higher profits marches inexorably on. The finish is OK, but the faux carbon fibre surfaces fool no-one, and seem to retain more fingerprints than a police database.
There is no soft click on closing the lid, as there is no catch, and not really anything to grab hold of when opening it, so a little functionality has been sacrificed for style and simplicity.
Other than that, I'm very pleased with the purchase, and believe that I made the right choice.
