A bit light on the history of the area, but there was quite enough information about eating, and shopping both in the city as well as the nearby areas. The only thing that I'd add would be to mention that everything pretty much shuts down at 4 or 5pm. poof. The evening restaurants and music starts up after that - but shops and museums shut promptly, and keep an eye out for Monday closures for tourist type sights and locations. All in all, a very useful book for the city.
