I'm just finishing wk 3, the changes in my body are coming fast, even after wk 1. I'm actually amazed! I'm 52 and have never felt so mentally and physically strong. It's hard work but sets me up for a good day!
If I hear Insantity one more time I'll go insane, better off going for a run tbh. Programs are intense but it does get boring and easy to loose interest. I also hate the fact they keep refering to this is insanity... Might work for some not for me.
Definitely the hardest thing you will ever do. I love it and will use it over and over again without a doubt. Cheaper than a month gym membership and much better value. Not for the fainthearted and not for a beginner - it's incredibly hard and you will feel sick frequently due to the lactic acid build up. But you will also feel amazing (and sore) afterwards, and you will reap the benefits quickly - within 2 or 3 weeks (you do workouts for 6 days and have Sunday off). It's quite repetitive but the workouts are 30 - 40 mins for the first month rising to 60 mins towards the end, so they are very do-able. You will need a non slip surface to work out on as you do a lot of activities based around a press-up, and your hands will be incredibly slippery because you will sweat from every single pore you own. You don't need a huge amount of space but you will need to be able to jump up and down heavily without cracking the floor/ceiling underneath you. You will need probably about 8ft square or thereabouts in total. I didn't follow the diet plan but it is comprehensive and easy. I toned up loads and lost a few pounds regardless. Superb.
Really good cardio workouts. Very tough but rewarding. Ideally though need to do this on a hard floor or lino as carpet can get marked with all the jogging, jumping, etc. We purchased a 2 x 2m square of lino so we could workout in front of the big telly in our lounge and this has proved to be £5 well spent. This workout is not for the fainthearted or someone with back, ankle or knee problems.
This has to be the hardest workout DVD around but I love it! I am now into my 2nd month of the insanity workout and I have to say its the best thing I have done. It is very hard and not for the fainthearted but once you get into it you started to see really changes in the way your body starts to look but more importantly the strength you start to develop. Before starting the insanity workout I couldn't even do half a push up but now I am able to do push up, push up jacks to mention a few. What I would say is if you are wanting to get fit and have a new fitness programme that will stay with you and something you can follow long term then this is the programme for you! all you have to do is Dig Deeper!!!
I am now into week 2 of the insanity 60 day workout and can already see results! I must say, this is not a fitness DVD for the fainthearted - and you are certainly going to have to be dedicated to stick to it. However, given the results I have seen so far, I'm certain that after 60 days, the results will be epic.
Shaun T guides you through each workout and really encourages you to keep going! If you know you're gonna be able to stick with him - you know you're going to get great results!
This workout is not for the fainthearted...it is tough from the outset. There is no let up but you can do as much or little as you like and watching some of the people during the routines fall off and have to take a breather proves these workouts are very tough and they are very fit looking people!!
If you are not prepared to seriously go for it and as Shaun T says dig deeper this workout is not for you it pushes you to the limit and is no gimmick it's not like many workouts which have come and gone telling you you will get this and get that and no results appear. With this work out you see the results and when you're friends and family say "what's happened to you you look great " you know the hard work has been work it and you get a good feeling highly recommended if you are heading to the beach for you're holidays this summer.
Great set of cardiac (no pun intended) workouts, this guy will push you to the edge and beyond. Will take up most of your week but the end results are worth it, you have to stick at it to achieve results. Persevere and the fruits of the hard work will be worth it!!
What a quality bit of kit. this is not for the fainthearted. its very good with tutorial all way through each dvd. Quality if you want to get fit and strong fast. Service was also very quick through post
