Compatibility

Innr Smart Lights are highly flexible and work over the Zigbee protocol. Therefor the Innr lights are compatible with all major smart brands like Philips Hue*, Samsung SmartThings, Homey or Amazon Echo Devices. *The Hue bridge does currently not support Apple HomeKit control nor the Entertainment functionality for non-Philips lamps, but the Innr lights can be controlled by the Hue app.

Voice control

Innr Smart Lights can be voice controlled by Alexa or Google. They work directly with the Echo 4th gen, Studio or Echo Show 10 because of the build-in Zigbee hub. The Echo Plus and Echo Show 2nd gen also have a smart hub. All other Alexa devices, like the Echo Dot, require a Philips Hue or Smart Things bridge.

Zigbee

The Innr Smart Lights work over Zigbee. Please try to pair the light close to the bridge or hub. First start searching for new lights, then switch on the lights. Once it is part of the network, the distance can be increased.

Got these to replace a DIY led light strip, the original had a faulty diode and was zwave and I've moved everything over to zigbee.
I use this with HomeAssistant, Conbee2 USB and Zigbee2MQTT on a RPi4, works perfectly, no issues joining.
The colour is spot on and easy to control through HA. There is no perceivably flicker (which I'm very sensitive to), so very happy from this perspective.
Only downside is the brightness, the DIY one I had to turn down to 50% to stop it blinding me, but it illuminated my kitchen counter brilliantly. The Innr lightstrip I've had to whack up to 100% and I still find its lighting of the worktop a little underwhelming. This is a trade-off to get the quality colour matching from what I can tell, and besides this the product is simple and feels well made.
Overall I am happy though, I often get itchy feet if something isn't good enough, and I don't have that here. The brightness is unfortunate, but not a deal breaker.

Would not work through a Zigbee repeater

Update: Also note these are nothing like as bright as the Hue equivalent - the 2m strip is rated as 12w / 600lm, whereas the Hue strip is rated 20w / 1600lm.

Wanted this as a light under the canopy of a workshop. I have numerous Hue bulbs, and hoped this would interwork, but sadly not fully. The workshop will not have a strong signal from the hub, but I have a Hue lightstrip outside, and two Hue bulbs in a conservatory, all within 12m of the desired location. Operation via the app was very hit-and-miss, so as a test, I put a Hue bulb in the middle of the garden, just a few feet from the Innr lightstrip. The Hue bulb operated 100%, but the lightstrip still did not. My conclusion is that the Innr lightstrip does not mesh with the Hue bulbs, but just picked up a weak signal from the hub, hence sometimes it responds to commands and sometimes not.

Although I had not intended to, I have now placed it over kitchen units, with closer proximity to the hub, and it works fine.

The conundrum now is: I would like to buy more smart bulbs / sockets, but feel I can not trust Innr devices to mesh - I want to put 5 bulbs along a driveway, which will all need to mesh / daisy-chain due to the distance, with the first device being a Hue bulb in the porch...

It is a shame that there is not an app that shows Zigbee devices mesh topology to assist in troubleshooting.

Great works brilliantly, great colours and bright even more LEDs than the Hue strip I would say nearly double the amount of LEDs at a guess. Only down side is they don’t stay stuck for long! I will be buying the LED cover strips then install these into them for a more permanent fixture.

The light strip works well with our existing Philips Hue bridge however, it hasn't stuck to the upvc window frame. We even bought superglue but not convinced it's going to stay up. I've already sent one back so not going through that again. Pity as I would have ordered another.
Note - this is only 2 "bulbs", not 3 like the Hue strip so the colours aren't anywhere near as good. It's cheaper than Hue though.

Unfortunately I didn't read the description properly and originally bought without a hub. They are really easy to install and the adhesive is very good on wood. My only critique would be when trying to bend around corners, you almost have to kink it. I'd welcome some flexibility in either cutting the tape along one side to allow corners or the ability to cut and connect 90 degree bend adapters.
