From the moment I sat down and opened this book, from the first paragraph I was hooked! I literally read this book in one day. I just couldn't put it down.
Imagine you're on holiday just having a good time, minding your own business, and suddenly your life is unimaginably changed.
The true story of 4 innocent friends that are taken in and interrogated in Dubai for the 2005 London bombings.
Alam opens up and gives you the raw details about his and his friends experiences, and what you read is shocking yet enlightening.
I will be telling my friends and family about this book for sure!

A friend recommended this book so strongly that I bought it from the UK site even though I live in the US. We have a saying here: 'You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried'! Alam Gafoor's harrowing true account of his captivity following the London Bombings lets you get right in there with him and come as close to experiencing this kind of awful mistake as you'll ever want to!. I couldn't put it down. An absolute must read! And a huge cautionary tale that all is not always what it seems in so called "progressive" nations. If you travel anywhere outside your immediate surroundings this could happen to you. Get it read it and remember freedom is never free.

This book was a great read. Based on a true story on three innocent men from the UK were accused of being involved in the London Bombings while visiting Dubai, and the suffering that was involved.

Whilst reading this book,I can honestly say my heart was in my mouth. If you have ever visited Dubai then this is a must read. If you thought Dubai was heaven, then think twice next time you are there.

Really interesting book about a terrible set of circumstances when a young man and his friends are picked up by foreign security services for nothing more than a concerned comment by his sister about the world situation after the 7/7 bombings in London.
