Tiffany Black is a slightly overweight, cup-cake loving 28 year old. She works as a dealer in a casino but is desperate to become a Private Investigator. Just as her PI application is going through, she is given her first proper case. Sophia, an old school friend, needs her help. On bail after being charged with murdering her wealthy, casino owner husband, she needs someone to investigate the case and clear her name. With the evidence stacked against her and no-one else willing to take the case, it's up to Tiffany to find the real murderer and take her first steps towards becoming a proper PI. As a novice in this area, it's quickly clear she needs help and to this end, enter Stone, the enigmatic, well-muscled, ex marine security expert. As a thriller, there are few surprises, clues are easily followed, truths easily uncovered and despite some potentially hairy situations, you're never really that concerned for Tiffany's safety. As a fun, thoroughly enjoyable read, with great characters, masses of humour and the potential for a budding romance, this is an unmissable book. I enjoyed every single page, adored all the characters, especially the interaction between Tiffany, her mother, long-suffering father and eccentric nan and would happily read lots more about this clever character, her family and her quirky friends.

Fans of Stephanie Plum, meet Tiffany Black, A.R. Winters's new heroine in Innocent in Las Vegas.

I remember reading Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels when I was in my early teens. I raved about them. But then I grew up.

Somehow, Innocent in Las Vegas takes me back to that time, when an innocent enjoyment of books and laugh out loud capers were paramount. I have to say although I can draw parallels between the two characters, I relate more to Tiffany Black, and love her interactions with her clients, suspects, and friends and family. Especially her family. The book is very wholesome, and while it does feature some violence (often with a comedic slant), it is free of bad language and graphic sex - I know this will make some of you doubt its 'realism', but I can tell you it most certainly doesn't.

I can't remember laughing out loud quite so much while reading for a very long time. Winters has a real talent for writing, and gives the characters unique voices that will have you giggling into your book.

A great plot with realistic characterisation and entertainment value, this is definitely not a book to be missed by lovers of mysteries, chick lit, spunky heroines and all things cupcake.

I saw this book in my recommendations after i had read every book by a different author Jana Deleon, After reading the description i thought the book sounded like it would be of a similar writing style and i was bummed that i had ran out of Jana's books so i took a chance and downloaded it. I enjoyed the book, it was a nice easy funny read with a couple of twists and turns and although in my opinion it isn't as good as Jana Deleon's books it is still very much worth a read and i will be looking into more books by this author.

As the author of Blood Sisters (Book One Of The Hanna and Carla Series), I would like to congratulate the author of Innocent In Las Vegas. I particularly enjoyed the humour and also the simplicity of the writing.
Devoid of foul language, gratuitous sex and gore, it makes this book a wholesome fulfilling read. With generous helpings of action, mystery and suspense, it is hard to put this book down. All in all, i`d say give it a try. Nice enjoyable read.

Brilliant. A chuckle is guaranteed every now and again. Not laugh out loud funny all the way through, and a good vein of humour running all the way through. A well built and told storyline. Good characters, and very little - if any - swearing. This is the first in a series and I have to admit that I cannot wait to read some more.

The only thing 'against' it as such is that it was too short. I don't usually like l o n g books, but this one was a little on the short side.

I'm looking forward to the building main character(s) and hope that the fast pace and well written scenes and characters continue. Good if you like a well written and not too heavy crime caper.

Lightweight it may be, but it is certainly very satisfying.

If you enjoy this book I suggest you read all Janet Evanovich's books about Stephanie Plum. THis is a rather shallow rip off of the Stephanie Plum stories without the level of violence Stephanie attracts. TIffany has an amusing grandma and the protection of a silent but deadly good looking security guy, so much like Ranger I thought he had moved to Vegas. Where have we read this before. I'm glad the author didn't make Tiffany's family Jewish.
THe setting was interesting and the characters quite well rounded. I thought the actual plot was a little thin and weird.
Interestingly, until I read the reviews I hadn't noticed low level violence and no bad language. Just shows how much these things bother me I suppose.

If you love lighthearted books, TV series and movies about mysteries, crime capers and heists ...then you will really enjoy this humorous book
I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did I have been reading a lot more complex books recently and this fun book was the perfect choice for me. I read it in one sitting --give it a try, you never know you might just love it too.
I won't go into the plot or story line ..you can find that in the description above
