5.0 out of 5 stars Infidelity: A Practioners Guide 1 Dec. 2010
By Sharon S. Shapanus - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This is a great book for counselors/therapists who work with couples who present with infidelity. It is thorough in explaining the reasons, the emotional trauma, and best practice for helping these couples. It moves from the affair, confronting it, using it as a learning experience, and finally, if the couple desires to stay together, explores forgiveness. A great tool for helping use this emotional trauma as a catalyst for change.

5.0 out of 5 stars Infidelity: A practitioner's guide to working with couples in crisis 29 April 2013
By Richard B. Lanoue - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This compilation of treatments for infidelity is a therapist's toolbox for treating couples who have experienced infidelity. The process map included was used in a graduate level class and I made an A. The information is solid and can be counted on to get therapists a pat on the back when the therapy succeeds. But, alas, not all marriages can be saved.
4.0 out of 5 stars Realy good book 20 July 2013

It could spend more time on specific interventions for the types of infidelities, but gave a good over all perspective that the therapist new to infidelity counseling could benefit.
