I like the way it's organised into regions, which give a real feel for food specific to a particular area. There are lots of stories behind the recipes presented and non are complicated. A quick scan of individual recipes reveals the nature of the dish if you're unsure and there's a comprehensive index. The author is also a chef and runs a cookery school and this feels like a book where she's actually there watching over the prep and service.
Huge variety of recipes, ideal for any level of experience. I'v been cooking home made Indian for some 40 years, but I've learned from this and consider it an excellent addition to my extensive collection of cook books. I love it.
