""Inception" gets the art movie treatment, with a really nice paperback edition of the screenplay. There are eight pages of color concept art, and a ton of storyboards plus a few of Nolan's own handwritten notes and diagrams. And there's an ultra-revealing introduction, in which Nolan gets interviewed by his brother Jonathan. For anybody interested in the creative process behind this film, this book is pretty much a must-have."

From the Author
Me and Jonah (Nolan) wanted to give the fans something that they could keep and read and also some extra stuff that you can't put on a DVD. So there is an interview that Jonathan did with me where we discuss some things about Inception and the concept, and also some of my early drafts of the dream levels.See all Product description

It is, of course, a great read, allowing you to look at how Christopher Nolan pieced together the puzzle that is Inception. It's a shooting script but is more or less the same as the final film, though it does have some minor details that a true fan of the film should take interest in. Plus, the small interview between Nolan and his brother, Jonathan, is an interesting look into the mind of the director and his thought processes making the film. And the other small elements are nicely done. (Examples of storyboards show the development process a little further, and a faux instruction manuel for the dream device only helps you appreicate the hard work put into the film further.)
Otherwise, it could be improved by more! A bit like 'The Art of The Dark Knight' book that really gave you a depth to the process as a whole. Maybe one day...
Until then, thank you, Chris... I cannot wait to see what you do next!
