Great book. This is the book that sparked all the controversy around unsuccessful libel case against Imran by Ian Botham and Allan Lamb. Right from the start you can tell this biography's different from All Round View or even the newer Christopher Sandford's attempt. A must read.
I think this book really describes every thing from Imran khan family life to his days at Oxford University and how hard he had to work for what he is.Generally very good book it is highly recommended for any Imran Khan's fans to read it!
I know this book is a few years old, but still as Wasim Akrams book this one is another disappointment. This book starts off from his 30's and then goes backwards, THEN it goes forward. It is very articulate in the wrong places which just confuses everything. You can set yourself in Imran's shoes, but only for a moment.Cricket is mentioned of course.Lots of pictures. There is quite a bit about the other players.I can understand Imran being such a high profile in Pakistan has to play hide n seek with his relationships but i have to say, whoever reads this book I suggest the last paragraph on page 55: His last 2 answers made me die laughing. He was questioned what he would do if he ever got someone pregnant. He said he won't.So what is the name of that little girl he had outside of marriage? Not that I am against that in any way, but it just goes to show you can't hide everything like he has tried. All in all, this book reveals that Mr.Imran Khan is perfect, where as today we know he's not.A lot of people in the book make him sound like a perfect flawless angel, but truly he is just a man with many dreams and flaws.I just hope his updated book is more clearer on who he is really is than just showing him off like Mr. Perfect again. All I wanted to know was how tall he is!Forget it, the answer isn't in it!
