About the Author

Jane is qualified to the equivalent of a Masters Degree in People Management and is fascinated by the things which craft people’s personalities, so she has great fun exploring these through characters. She lives in the United Kingdom near the Regency City of Bath and has just bought her 400 year old dream home. History has always tempted her imagination and she loves researching and also exploring ruins and houses to get ideas. She equally loves a love story.
Jane has always aspired to writing a historical novel so when she was thirty she put it on her ‘to do before I am forty’ list. She completed her first novel ten years ago, never sent it anywhere then started the next. She’s not stopped writing since, and escaping into a mental world of fiction is a great painkiller to help fight off her Ankylosing Spondylitis.

Format: Kindle Edition
Rachel faces an inner battle every day, actually make that two battles. Being bipolar is like riding an emotional roller-coaster. Ups and downs, from manic episodes to deep dark pits of depression.
The other daily fight is choosing between being medicated and feeling like a walking zombie, and not taking the meds and feeling like her normal self.
Her euphoric self nearly kills her son, which triggers concerns about her capabilities as a mother. Her ex raises his ugly egotistical head and threatens the happy family life Rachel has with Jason.
As is often the case Declan the ex is more interested in revenge rather than the welfare of the child.
Jason is an interesting character, he has this strange kind of co-dependant relationship with Rachel. He likes the zany, the crazy and the impetuous side of Rachel, aka her manic episodes. On one hand he wants her on the medication, and on the other he really misses the other non-medicated Rachel. This has got to send out mixed signals to the poor woman.
I’m Keeping You is the fourth in the Starting Out series. It is a mixture of romance, steamy bedroom antics and mental health issues.

Rachel and Jason love each other but living the dream is harder than dreaming the dream. Their relationship undergoes some severe tests, as they battle for the custody of Saint and come to terms with the reality of living with mental illness.
The dual points of view give a realistic insight into Rachel and Jason’s raw emotions, as they fight their own fears and an outside force that threatens their family unit. The plot is simple but the characters are complex and if you empathised with Rachel and Jason in ‘I Found You’, you will be firmly in their corner for this book.
Sensual, shocking and sleek, this story pulls you in with its angst and holds your attention with its believable characters and plot until the last word.

....i defo recommended to others!

Jason & Rachel have it tough because of her bipolar and now the sleezy ex wants Saint!!

I love the fact that this book and the rest of the series doesn't fit into one particular genre - you have romance, mental illness, scorned exe's, friendships, few steamy scenes, some tender scenes, and a good solid story that draws you in big style. I love the characters and especially getting both Jason and Rachs POVs, helps give a good insight and understanding to the illness, heartbreak, love and every day life.

Jane, I've read the entire series and I absolutely love it, brilliant writing and just the right amount of everything! Hats off to ya!

This was gifted to me via the publishers for an honest review.

I haven't read the others in this series and I regretted that after reading this.
I will be rectifying that.
Declan is trying to take Saint because Jason wants to adopt him. This story's main focus is on Rach and Jason and how Rach's Bipolar affects their life. It was very insightful. Made me think more about the effects Bipolar has on people. However I did feel there was to much focus on this and not enough on the story. It didn't spoil the story for me. Just left me wanting more.
