“I’m a Big Sister and I’m a Big Brother are bestsellers and it’s clear why. They empower first-time older siblings by filling them in on their new role: Mommy and Daddy’s helper with the new baby.” (“The Best Books for Soon-to-Be Big Brothers and Sisters”) (Brightly)

Aside from that nice simple story teaching child to be gentle with baby and be happy with new family member. Nice pictures as well.
As to the breast/bottle comment others have made, I can see that that would be something you'd want to prepare your older child for (I breast fed my daughter and I know it's a time consuming business that might confuse and frustrate a toddler believe me), but maybe there are other books out there that address the impact of breast feeding? You probably can't fit both into a tiny book after all, and a lot of people do bottle feed after all - indeed, I might be one of them, who knows...
Baby isn't here yet but it's great way for her to be able to visually see a big sister in action and the illustrations give a sense of what to expect. This will be our new bedtime read!
This book is about a family (Mum, Dad and one child - a girl), which I liked as it mirrored our current situation. I bought other books and was a bit annoyed because I didn't realise that the story was about two children, a dog etc... Although, those books convey the same message (that a new baby is on it's way) this wasn't our exact situation, which I thought was needed as she was so young.
The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because the mum bottle feeds her new baby rather than breastfeeds. I had to rely on another book to cover that point.
