Old before his time and smarting from defeat in battle, the evil wizard Norvora just wants to die. Unfortunately for him, the three monstrous witches who saved his life now control him like a puppet. Wracked with pain if he fails to do their bidding, he tries desperately to bend Talia's young crown prince to his will and kill the boy's allies. Only the good wizards Marcus and Idi can save the land when Norvora rebuilds his army - and Marcus is going downhill fast.
With amazing twists, humour and pathos, excitement mounts throughout this fast-paced adventure. A brilliant ending and tantalising epilogue prove that the battle between good and evil is never over...
Wow!!!!!!! Not sure what to say, I don't usually do book reviews as I expect a published book to be good!
HOWEVER... I have had to do these books. No idea why but they are really special, they envelop the soul like nothing I have read. They are Lord of the rings / Harry Potter esk, with a little / lot extra. Can't wait for the movies. PLEASE...
It's like all my childhood books rolled into one. Fairies, ogres, elves, princesses, queens, Sirens, Kings, dragons, Wizards and witches. Pleeeease tell me this isn't it..
Incredible story and great ending. I have just finished this story as we speak. I have not been able to put this down since I started 2 days ago. Also nearly missed my stop on the train yesterday. The second half of the story was faster paced and I really enjoyed it. Such an enjoyable series. Thank you.
Idi & The Scirocco Witch, by T N Traynor, is book three of the ‘Born to Be’ trilogy. Tracey’s easy-to-read style kept my attention all weekend. She builds scenes with great atmosphere and situations that many would recognise from childhood. Passion for her subject and sensitivity lead to an unexpected conclusion. A pleasure to read.
Absolutely loved this book. The last book in the Idi trilogy and T N Traynor definitely left the best till last. Thicker book than the first too so even more story to read. The plot was brilliant and it was lovely to go back to Talia to meet up and discover what further adventures awaited our heroes. Children of all ages will be captivated and transported to a magical place of heroes.trolls goblins witches faeries and magic. I do believe in magic and Tracy has wrote a magical story. Well done and we need more
Delightful reading for teens and adults alike. T N Traynor is a natural born storyteller - her writing is charming, entertaining and wonderfully accessible. The whole series is great – and book three is the best one yet. If you enjoy fantasy - you will love these books.
Such a gripping continuation of Idi’s story. Great reading for children and adults alike, it keeps you on pins until the very end. And what an ending! It sparks the imagination and takes you on an adventure with wizards, witches, goblins, elves and fairies. With the overarching message of good conquers all evil, what’s not to like?
Since reading the first in the series, I have been completely unable to put this one down and I am ABSOLUTELY gutted that this adventure has finished. I really want more! I have noticed that a book 4 is on the way, bring it on! They're easy to read, but written in a way which allows your imagination to run wild. Simply brilliant.
This book has a great cast of characters as they continue on their adventures in this third book of the series. I enjoyed the humour provided by the fart platoon, and Idi's journey to the realization of his true self. I look forward to seeing what future adventures Katrina will partake in. Truly a great fantasy series to read at any age.
