The great value set hosts a diverse range of artists of different genres as well as some famous names and little known artists. Almost guaranteed to have a number of tracks that appeal to anyone. Having said that the variety could be a little better with a general swing towards electronic music, but the name does suggest that anyway.
Using Ibiza in the title would maybe be a little misleading, towards thinking of clubland Ibiza, but this is quite the different "walk along the beach" side. Perfect for those lazy times.
Overall, it is definately among the best compilations available for its chillout theme and at great value.
By then end of disc 3 you will certainly be 100% mellow (if you haven't already fallen asleep!) This is an excellent compilation and with 50 tracks at a low price this is a great addition to anyones collection, or a fantastic introduction to chillout.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys clubbing. You should really have a CD like this in your collection, it's packed full of wonderful relaxing tunes.
To be honest they're getting a touch tiresome, but this one, while given the 'Ibiza' tag, is actually reasonable.
Sure, there are plenty of filler tracks, but a fair volume of worthy ones too.
Highlights include Thomas Newman's Whisper of a Thrill and William Orbit's Barbers Adagio for Strings.
Overall worthy compilation which could have been trimmed to 10-20 tracks.
