Ibadan:the Penkelemes Years is an autobiography that gripped me from its first page to the very end. Wole Soyinka strikes me as a master carver of the English Language; he simply sculpts and carves the language with skills I've not witnessed elsewhere. It's a remarkable memoir, colourful in its splendour of retrospection, gripping in its lush narrative and peculiar even in its evocative title. One of the finest memiors I've come across.

I grew up in the university of Ibadan so this book means a lot to me, it arrived speedily and is hardback, first edition, and in perfect condition. Treasure it.
