I bought this for cleaning electrical components. It's so pure I don't have to worry where it goes. Excellent product which lasts a long time depending how many components you're cleaning. Highly recommended.
I should also mention it arrived very well packaged with no chance of it bursting in transit. The bottle is a good plastic bottle, not glass. The screw top is the press down safety type. It also arrived 1 day early.
I don't know why there are ratings for scent and adhesion. Smells like pure alcohol as you'd expect and doesn't adhere to anything, it evaporates quite quickly.

I bought this item to use for working with gum nail products, rather than for medicinal running alcohol which is it probably intended for.

Used it to remove rubbery finish on a PURE Radio which had become sticky. This product was easy to apply with a suitable cloth and a fair amount of rubbing. It worked well and in half an hour I removed the sticky finish (couldn't be bothered with a few streaks left on the radio). Any hobby involving cleaning electrical items will have use at some time for this chemical. It's far better than methylated spirits (which leaves a deposit on your supposedly clean surfaces)and works with very little effort. So, you need only a little at a time to dampen, say, cotton buds.
Try getting this product in the high street - it's impossible. Some dispensing chemists may prodide you a small quantity after asking all sorts of questions. But I have to say this is one of the easiest purchases I've made through Amazon. And a rapid next day delivery. That's what I call good service!

Some time ago, when I purchased a camera cleaning kit (I forget who from), there was a small (15ml) bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol included in it, which is ideal for cleaning lenses etc, and is small enough to put in the camera bag. After a while, the small bottle was nearly exhaisted, and that's when I searched for a replacement ; and found this. I can now REFILL my small bottle many times, over & over again, and the saving in cost is exceptional; as I'm sure that to buy another small bottle would be very cost IN-EFFECTIVE. Therefore, all in all this size bottle is a very cost effective way of buying this product. I would recommend this product to all camera "buffs" out there, to clean their lenses, etc.
