5* MIND BLOWING CLICK CLICK CLICK STARS

WELL WELL Ker & D H Sidebottom have done it again I swear these 2 get better and better with each book they write but together is mind blowing

Nina Drake is a great Character she has it all great friends until one night she is attacked and that changes her life forever.
She ends up moving away and changing her name she shuts herself of from the world, until a new neighbour moves in and brings her out of more
than just her nightmares.

But she still can't shake the feeling that she is being watched.... after what happened she don't trust anyone and the fact he told her he will one day be back for her.

However, When Devon moves in next-door she slowly learns to start trusting again.

But does Devon have a dark secret of his own that he is hiding from her?

Can she rebuild her life with knowing that one day her attacker might come back?

Well I cannot say much more without giving this book away you will have to read to find out

This is one of my top five reads for 2015

I must admit I was a little scared to read this book. I'd heard so many great reviews about this dark sick and twisted story.
When Ker and DH collaborate explosive things happen and I was not disappointed.

Nina Drake was just an ordinary twenty-something girl, working in a local bar and hanging out with her best friend, her beloved cat and avoiding the creepy old pervy man next door. Totally out of the blue Nina is subjected to a horrific and brutal attack. After which an alone, broken and almost reclusive Nina moves away and isolates herself from the world not letting anybody close until she meets her sexy new neighbour Devon.

This book knocked me for six. It was so unexpected I totally did not see it coming until it literally slapped me in the face.
I was held captive by the story and the characters with both fear and excitement and was totally blown away.
What an excellent twisted mind f**k.

I pondered on buying this book for a number of weeks, given the storyline, and decided to go ahead when a Facebook page I'm following held a 'group read event'. Through a couple of the scenes I did a 'fast read' as they were very graphic, but by the end of the book you realise they needed to be to show the reader the differences between the two brothers, Noah and Devon. I'd seen reviews where people were saying they didn't see that ending coming, and I thought "I can work this out", but I didn't, and I really didn't see that ending coming! It's a very well written book with a very original storyline and a very 'complete' ending that leaves you satisfied, not wishing 'this' or 'that' had happened. By the end of the book, any nerves I'd had at buying this book were put to rest, because it's quite simply a fantastic, gripping book!

I can't put into words how I feel about this story. I think it was a little too dark, even for me. I certainly wasn't expecting a fluffy romance, but I did expect to see a little bit, enough to keep me satisfied and happy with how things turned out. The thing is, I am not feeling those things at all.

Nina was a normal girl, if a little lonely. She lived with her cat and had a best friend who was a nasty piece of work, but Nina was completely blind to it. After she is brutally attacked, her life changes completely and she is a broken woman until a year later when a new neighbour moves in next door.

I can't really tell you much about the 'hero' without spoiling it, but lets just say he wasn't what I was expecting. He is not a BBF you can fall in love with, let's put it that way.

Also, the writing felt off, like it was a bit rushed and forced. Very over descriptive at times and I often had to read sentences again to make sense of them. Overall, I was quite disappointed, and although I will continue to read Ker Dukey's dark stuff, I will probably steer clear of anything quite this effed up.

This is a dark, thriller (not romance IMO) told in dual POV.

ARC gratefully received from the author in exchange for an honest review

Oh my...well.... I....... okay, got my barings now. I have just finished this book after devouring it two days. OMG, it's brilliant. I am fairly new to this author and was blown away with Decimation of Mae, Salvation of Daniel and Beginning of Connie and Isaac. I thought I'd give some more of her work a try and I was not disappointed. She is so brilliant and grabs you from the first page. I stand by what I have previously said of her work and that is she takes your theory's and throws them right back at you. This book is no different. It's emotional, it's dark and twisted and leaves you rung out and numb.

A must read!!

Oh my god that was crazy. I'm honestly considering that I might be mental, or at least a little twisted, to have loved this book so much that I put it straight in my favourites list. But seriously- it was that good!

I always find it annoying when people write nothing about what the book is actually about to avoid spoiling it, but this one is definitely the kind of book you need to go into blind.

All you really need to know is that it's truly flipping dark and calling it a 'mindf*ck' seems like a sad understatement.
