I've long held a rather sceptical view of the extent of 'progress' in cures for many medical problems. It seems astounding that in many areas, despite billions of pounds of research funding being poured in, worldwide, annually, there is little in the way of the miracle cure always just round the corner. The extent to which the pharmaceutical industry, food producers and Governments work hand in glove should be of concern to every individual who thinks Government is there to look after the people.
This story is based on real events surrounding research in a different field. The parallels are stark and frightening. Corporate corruption and moral bankruptcy are the rules by which the games are played? I urge you to read this and understand why it's necessary to maintain a sick population! It's another belting story. Thanks Mr McClure!
It makes you wonder if such advances are being made and if they big pharmaceutical companies are behaving in the way we see here?
I only got onto McClure's other works after I'dread all of the Dunbar series, but boy am I glad I did?
Ken McClure is rapidly replacing James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell as my favourite author!

Makes great reading yet leaves one questioning the whole issue of drug research and its findings.
