These are not the very highest quality arrows, but they reallly are good value at this price - which works out at £2.25 each, post paid. I probably can't make them myself for that.
Have you seen the price of some other arrows?
Scary. Especially for practice/fun archery. Too worried about losing one to really enjoy it.
.
They were adequately packed - at first I thought that some flights were damaged, but all that had happened was that the fletching was distorted on some arrows.
Fortunately the fletching is in some high-tech material (silicone rubber? ...something like that) that responds swiftly to gentle steam heat by perfectly resuming its original shape.
The responsive and courteous people at ThinkBay assure me that this packing problem is being dealt with now.
The arrows are black fibreglass (or a very similar material) with glued-in plastic nocks and steel piles that also appear to be glued in. The piles are certainly well fastened, and I did not persevere with trying to remove one.
I would call them a pretty standard target pile, certainly they work fine as a target/field target practice arrow. You could put hunting points on if you live somewhere this is allowed (NOT the UK! Bow-hunting is prohibited here) and they should work well, their length might even let you get away with the standard fletching.
They are 82cm (a tad over 32") end-to-end, which should be long enough for anyone not shooting from the ear like the Agincourt archers with their cloth-yard arrows. The arrows weigh around 42 grams each.
The only niggle with them is that some of the nocks are not aligned perfectly with the cock feathers. I'll have a fiddle with that when I can get round to it.

All nocking points wrong way round who ever put them together has never shot an arrow I think they might need some training
Feathers warped when I opened them but a little steam fixed them
If the nocking points were set right they would be good arrows
