Did you enjoy the previous book in this series called The Hack? I did. This starts, where that one ended. So, it would be beneficial to read that before you try this.
I liked this one, as well. Although, it lacked the pace of the first novel.
Taking that aside. It is still another hard hitting story, with good character development.
So what now for Kate O’Sullivan? Is she now a new mother? Or still pregnant? Either way, the world of investigative journalism is still a calling for her.
How will she cope without her brother? Is a return to Thailand on the cards and meeting up again with a local policeman? Or is the father of her child, a man called Doug A.K.A the Hunter, going to play a part in Kate’s latest assignment regarding sex trafficking?
I am exhausted..I couldnt wait to read this book after reading The Hack.But..Im drained ..The fast pace is relentless..Doug aka Tony his feelings for kate...the corruption..slavery etc there are too many to mention.will keep you totally on the edge ...Ive also got the biggest saddest lump in my throat too .Excellent.
A really entertaining read. Having met the two main characters before I was intrigued to see what they got up to in this latest episode and was not disappointed. The introduction of Chargos into the frame is just another exciting prospect, can't wait for the next installment.
