Ok..so its found footage,so some wont like it from the start. But its fast paced, and pretty unrelenting.I have a feeling this is a marmite movie. But considering the budget and slightly annoying characters somehow i still enjoyed it.Great british cam movie,
I thought, as a British film, this might be a new, creative angle on the found-footage genre. It was not. It was like a cross between "Cloverfield" and "Shaun of the Dead," but cheap, badly acted, not exciting, and not at all funny. Also - even forgetting the zombies - it is totally unbelievable. The guy who is filming it all for a college project never stops filming, even when he and his friends are getting rid of a body; when they are bribing a police officer, even the cop himself seems to have no objection to being filmed. I could go on about how silly the zombies actually are, but I don't want to add any further spoilers. And I had to pay good money for this load of rubbish,
I enjoyed this a lot! Considering it's another low budget "found footage" movie, I was surprised at the pretty decent special effects. The characters are well enough acted (some people here seem to mistake a British accent for "poor acting"). Not only that, but the characters are believable, and more importantly, likeable. With humour and romantic interests in the first half hour of the movie, you start to care for the characters. Which makes it more tense in the latter half when they're in danger. A very well made low budget movie. I just don't understand the pricing - buy for £6 in HD or rent for £4.50? Seriously? Rental price is way too high considering an extra £1.50 will get you the movie to keep.
I didn't enjoy this film at all. Another one of those 'I'm making a home movie' films. Some are quite good unfortunately I found this film to be poor! Shaky camera, poor acting. I didn't bother watching the last 20 minutes so don't waste your time or money!
