Yes, I LOVED this book, perhaps even more than A Touch of Crimson and that's saying something. I think it's all down to Elijah. He was pretty enigmatic to me in the first book but I was intrigued and I was very glad that book two was his! And boy, did he come alive and set the pages alight for me! His chemistry with Vashti absolutely sizzles - they are quite a match. There were some scenes where I just wanted to shake her - my heart was breaking from them both - but it was absolutely worth it in the end! I really hope that there's more to come about these two (I liked the glimpses of Adrian and Lindsay in this one too). This is a world I couldn't get tired of - more please!

A Hunger So Wild is book 2 in the Renegade Angel series and this installment was even better than the first!

Elijah, the reluctant Alpha who was charged with protecting Lindsey in A Touch of Crimson, finds himself leading the Lycans after they revolt from being ruled by the Angels. He is tormented when he faces the killer of his friend, does he avange his death or accept the alliance Vashti is offering? Can Vashti work with the Lycan's when she is still consumed with the need to hunt down the Lycan's who killed her mate?

Elijah intrigued me from the first moment he entered the story, I was so excited to learn A Hunger so Wild's main focus would be on him. The tension build up between Elijah and Vashti is intense, the attraction is immense and when they give in, the heat is scorching!

Sylvia did most of the world building in the first book so the plot development felt a lot smoother in this one, there was a lot of action and plenty of twists to keep me entertained.

I highly recommend reading these in order, Sylvia left a lot of loose ends in the first book and some are resolved in this one, some are developed slightly but left open for the next book. I would recommend this to anyone who loves an action packed Urban Fantasy Romance.

I liked the first book in the Renegade Angel series, and I loved this, mainly because all the characters (Angels, Vampires and Lycains) are good and bad there are no vampire against angel or wolf against vampire etc, although some of the characters have reasons for disliking each others groups they all have a point of view that you can get on board with, I loved Vash and Elijah in the first book and you get to see more of them here and thankfuly they are still fab, my only moan is with the publishers why oh why cant you bring out the kindle version at the same time I have book one on kindle and have had to buy the paperback for book 2 as I have waited and no sign of it, even though it was going to be released then it was pulled, after me buying it Amazon did put the page up for pre-odering on August 28th, (typical) thats annoying for me as I like to keep my series together, I wont buy this twice as I wonder if thats the publishers hook here, so while I will be reading book three as this is looking like a great series, I will wait to see if a kindle version is released, this series reminds me of Nalini Singh's Angel Archangel series, and Psy-Changeling series it has lots of action great characters that as you get to know you wonder about their stories and a heap of hot romance really enjoyed both books hope book three ( Syre's book) will be as good ( I love him so I think it will), I would 100% read book one first as lots happend in that one that has meaning in this one, I'll try to give a breif description but there is lots of action and I dont want to give too much away but here goes....
Vashti (Vash) is a fallen angel who was punished for falling in love and transformed into a vampire.

If you love hot romance, sensual tension backed up with Vampires and Werewolves then you have to read this series by Sylvia Day which, on its second outing really has set things up to sizzle from start to finish. Throw into the mix perceived vengeance, an untested alliance and of course double dealing all wrapped up in a fast paced action piece and you only really touch the surface which when backed with cracking lead characters will set your heart alight as the tale unwinds.

Back this up with smouldering looks, hot romance and of course the discovery of the unknown and all in the reader is in for a treat. However the only warning I'm going to give you is don't pick this book up without having read the first as otherwise a lot of the details may pass you by. All in a solid read if a little abrupt on the conclusion leaving the reader in the lurch and demanding more.

I really love this series and it's my favourite more so than the Crossfire which I have boycotted as its been ruined by Sylvia's greed. My rating is more to do with her putting all of these series we loved on a back burner while she milks the success of Ctossfire and giving herself too much on her plate. I absolutely detest this Author now because she's just shown how greed and success can turn even the most talented of people to be just money hungry and put out quantity over quality. Good luck to all you loyal fans.
