This series has fast become one of my all-time favourites & it seems each & every time I think I FINALLY have a hold on where Pepper is taking this unbelievably broken couple too, she leaves me utterly speechless, wrecked & a whole lot ruined.

The ending of Dollars hand me hanging off a cliff edge, so desperate to find out just how Pimlico & Elder were going to fuse together after THAT event. I didn’t think I could be so tense or on edge by just having the book on my kindle – how wrong was I!! Never mind the ridiculous speed my heart was racing as soon as I turned to page 1 chapter 1 & the journey of HUNDREDS began.

Pimlico – hell do I love every single inch of what has to be the strongest, most resilient heroine I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Broken, damaged, afraid – yes to those & a whole world more. This girl has suffered the most extreme levels of abuse & depravity, but somehow, with the strength, courage & safety given by Elder, she has not only managed to claw her way back from hell, but she is slowly finding a new strength, deep compassion & a heart she never knew could love.

Elder – for a man so strong, powerful & dominant I can’t help but love the soft side that he fails to hide when it concerns Pim. He is the light & the darkness, protector & master. Although his actions on the surface seem to be purely for his own gain, they are so beautiful when you learn the reason for them & the strength & power he bestows to Pim in the process. But he is a man lost to his own demons while trying to save her from her own. My heart hurt for him so much as we learned more about his shadows from his past & the power they hold over him. Sometimes the battle is just to great fight – even for the strongest of men.

Together this couple slay me.

I was given this book as an ARC to review and it’s the continuation of Pim and Elders story.  Having read Pennies and then Dollars previously this book follows on where Dollars left off.  It does briefly refresh the back story of the two previous books and you immerse yourself back into the world and emotions of two damaged and broken people Pim and Elder.  The characters having already been established in the two previous books, they feel like a warm blanket familiar and loved and you really want for them to fix each other.  Pim has found her voice and Elder now is at a crossroads of wanting to keep Pim or returning her to her previous life, but does she want to go back home to her mother.

Some questions raised in the two previous books are answered and the pages turned quickly as I absorbed and felt emotionally connected to Pim and Elder.

I absolutely love this series as it’s so emotionally charged, it’s obvious they love each other but doubts and fears creep in adding to their inner turmoil and they ultimately destroy what happiness they could have.  Pim just wants to be normal and Elder wants redemption.

The story is simple but so well written you feel like you are there with them on their emotional journey.

I couldn’t put this book down, it was engrossing, hopeful, lovely, emotional, tragic, heartbreaking and beautiful.  You may need the tissues and my only criticism is that it ended and you have to wait for the next instalment.

Every time you think Pepper Winters cannot possibly write a better book she delivers this - the third book in the Dollars series. Her writing is perfection and she has the uncanny ability to bring the characters personalities to life so you feel every bit of their pain, their struggles and of course the joys.

We are back with Elder and Pim on their journey of discovery only this time the tables have turned. We get to see Elder's vulnerable side, the side he doesn't want Pim to see. He opens himself up more and in doing so he makes himself more unguarded which I absolutely loved. The man is beautiful and complex in his pain and in his struggles to get to know Pim better and find out what secrets she my be hiding.

Pim is a revelation in this book, gone is the scared and fragile woman we have been introduced to, Pim has found her voice in more ways than one and it was a delight to read and to be privy to this new found strength that sometimes shocked and delighted me.

Twist and turns galore with a genius mindset that Pepper Winters possesses, I just adore her work and love her as an author; she can do no wrong.

This book is deep and intense; it's a book of discovery, journeys, secrets, eroticism and so much more and I can't wait for the next installment of Pim and Elder.
This book, this series is an absolute must read !!!

Wow! Just Wow!

I have never felt so connected to a book more before in my entire life. This novel was everything! Pepper Winters just blew my mind on a scale of a hundred, and I want more and more.

The story of Elder and Pim excited me, but it also broke my heart - to see Elder's pain truly broke my heart. It goes to show that even the strongest and most powerful of people have their weaknesses and vulnerabilities that can break through their walls, to see them as humans, to see inside them instead of what they want to see. I felt for both Pim and Elder throughout the novel, and not only felt their pains and their struggles, but their strength too.

The twist and turns had me on the edge of my seat, and never, EVER, wanting the story to end. The author made me want to jump into the book and comfort, as well as admonish, the characters. She had made them real people to me, and to know that such cruelty that Pim suffers is real, breaks my heart.

It was nice to see Elder vulnerable as much as Pim was throughout the novel. Elder had been strong, but to see his walls fall down, made him all the more real to me.

Pepper Winters has a spectacular gift and I feel honoured for her to share it with me and everybody else. Her work just keeps on getting better and better.

I need Thousands more than anything. I need more of Elder and Pim and the secrets that lurk between them.

A truly amazing novel! Just brilliant!!
