The Hummingbird's Journey to God includes an introduction by Dr David Luke of Northampton University who is currently engaged on research into states of non-ordinary reality and the ESP-enhancing potential of ayahuasca and San Pedro. --Dr David Luke.
The Hummingbird's Journey to God is a delightful book to read - well written, engaging and thought-provoking. I must admit I am still somewhat cynical that all its claims are true, but I'm certainly intrigued enough to want to find out more. --Lucya Starza, www.badwitch.co.uk

The book details Ross' introduction with San Pedro and gives many detailed stories from other people who have taken this powerful medicine. I do feel the book should perhaps come with a Warning - San Pedro can Seriously Change your Life... But if you're ready to jump, read this first.
I just finished reading and I'm booking my flight for 2010.
Ross Heaven calls himself a healer yet sent the below abusive emails to me, telling me to F-off (***'d for this post), accusing me of having learning disabilities and a dysfunctional marriage. Sound healing to you? Read to the end.......
(FYI - my partner has suffered with migraines and a painful/numb limbs for 45 years - I only met him 4 years ago, we are not married and I have simply been trying to help him find a "cure")

OK thanks Ross - I was stretching myself with the Peru trip so paying twice for accom won’t work for us this time so it’s back to the plan of waiting for the next Spain trip. Never mind. I guess the Universe wants us to wait! Do you have dates for Europe San Pedro ceremonies yet please? Cheers – Corinna

Gosh - that's a bit harsh! It's actually more for my partner and trying to help him overcome 45 years of suffering with migraines. Having read your books and the stories of how you have helped people with illnesses I am shocked to experience your lack of compassion and understanding towards us, all because we need to be able to find and pay for accommodation that is suitable for Simon?! Bizarre

As i feel i compassionately intimated without being too non-compassionately direct about it, whether you feel it is harsh or not and whether you loved my books or are now going to have a hissy fit, hate them all and start telling your friends what a nasty nasty man i am is wholly irrelevant to me. Find a new healer who's prepared to put up with your procrastination, self-sabotage, self-deceit and time-wasting and dont bother me again. im only interested in serious students and those who want to help themselves not attention-seeking victims and whiners. Goodbye

Wow! You have some serious issues!

And you seem to have some learning disabilities. Or perhaps i wasnt clear enough. F*** OFF AND DONT BOTHER ME AGAIN. Go enjoy your parasitical dysfunctional marriage where you keep your husband sick and he'd rather have a headache and hide than get rid of you and get on a plane to get better. i dont want any part of it thanks.
The trips described are beautiful, in themselves they could be a book and Heaven explores a good aray of different legends and myths behind the plant.
