Like other books from Desmond Morris, this is also fascinating. It is a great enjoyment to read while it gives us a lot of insights into the various aspects of human behaviour. This book is based on a TV series which is felt in the sense that it does not stop at a single issue, but insted goes on and on to cover a lot of topics. The book seems to be a kind of overview of Morris's previour publications, namely: chapter on is based on Manwatcing (body language), chapter two on The Naked Ape (evolution of our species), chapter three on The Human Zoo (urbanization), chapter four on Intimate Behaviour (intimacy), chapter five on Babywatching and The Book of Ages (the human life cycle), chapter six on The Biology of Art (art).

Wonderful to know there are others out there that do not forget WE ARE Animals. Little different to some in the wild. We only think we are "Civilized".

The behavior of man explained. It answers a lot of questions I have about how people live their lives and why they act as they do.
