I've been using this watch every day for a little under 2 months, and so far I can't list a single serious problem with it. I have a few minor complaints (see below) but nothing that would prevent me from recommending this watch to anyone in the market for a new wearable.

Notes: I have the non-LTE 'sport' version of the watch as opposed to the 'classic' one - however all three models are incredibly similar in functionality so my thoughts should apply across the board. I've been using it paired to a Google Pixel XL, currently running Android 7.1.2 (latest stable version at time of writing) - I don't have an iOS device to test with, but I've heard the experience is significantly worse when using the watch with an iPhone, so check another source if that's going to be your setup.

The biggest criticism reviewers of this watch have made is that they don't like the thick 'sporty' look of the bezel, but personally I've always liked watches that look like that, so it's right up my street. Like any Smartwatch this is a combination of a tech product and a fashion accessory - so if you hate the look of it then that's a very valid reason to not buy it despite all of the positives! Look at alternatives from Motorola, Sony, LG, Asus and Fossil - you're bound to find something that you like!

Things I love:

- Packs every sensor (GPS+LTE+NFC) into the body of the watch, so you can still have removable watch bands - something that no other OEM has accomplished so far. It also has automatic brightness without a "flat tyre" like on Motorola watches, which is a rarity.

- Battery life is the best on the market. It's good enough that I don't even have to THINK about it.Read more ›

After extensive research I decided to purchase this watch as it has NFC and 4g and Androidwear 2.0.

I can say I'm not disappointed at all.
Installation of nano SIM is easy and setup a piece of cake.

Android pay works brilliantly and making and recieving calls and texts is a very good plus point.

The battery will last an average 2 days with 4g on and under normal use.

Only down side was the rubber strap.
I replaced mine with a 20mm black stainless steel strap that cost £14.99 from Amazon and took less than 10 minutes to fit.

This watch is expensive but you get what you pay for. This is by far the best Smartwatch on the market for the money. It has very good reviews elsewhere. If you want to buy the LG Sport the battery will last you less than a day.

Photos are with after market steel strap and with watchface made with watchmaker.

This is perfect, i was a bit worried about the size as many people say it is too small and yes a bit bigger would be nice, however would not let this put you off. Battery life is very good and 50% left after full day of using it on mobile network with approx one hours music listening.

I have been struggling with whether going for Huawei Watch 2 or Samsung Gear S3 as I have Huawei Watch 1 and Gear S3 looks nice. Got both watches from friends recently for a detailed comparison and finally decide to stick with Huawei Watch 2 4G version and I am glad I did as it allows extra flexibility while exercising outdoor. I have previously purchased the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier for my boyfriend and we had to return it on a number of occasions due to poor battery performance. I was skeptical when I purchased this product as I feared I would have the same problem…

I must say I am very impressed with the battery performance on this watch. It lasts generally up to 2 days (Depending on what the watch is doing)
Streaming music to the to Bluetooth headphones whilst working out at the gym is absolutely amazing.
The watch looks great!

As a result of this purchase my boyfriend upgraded his phone to a Huawei P10 and I have moved away from my Ipad to a Huawei Media Pad… I am blown away with the performance of all of Huawei products… I will be recommending Huawei to all of my friends and family as a result of these purchases. Well done Huawei. Definitely a brand that knows how to make electrical goods!

Finally we have a manufacturer to take on Apple and Samsung!

>Very nice looking watch. Not at all cheap looking as some people are suggesting. Looks good on my wrist - perfect size for skinny girly wrists like mine.
>Phone functionality works a treat, loudspeaker sounds nice and clear.
>Apps are easy to load on the watch as long as you install the Android Wear compatible apps on your phone first; just after installation on the phone is finished, the watch vibrates and offers you the option to install the same app on the watch - this makes installing apps on the watch a breeze!!
>Happily, Microsoft Outlook watch app shows my work calendar and notifies me of meetings, but has no snooze facility.
>Google maps works great.

CONS.
>The operating system software lets the nice hardware down; it seems to be very stable, but lacks configuration features and flexibility. For example, there is no control over the annoying 5 second watch face timeout.
>Similar issue for the apps. For most apps, the watch goes back to the watch face after 15 seconds and there is no direct way to go back to the app you just had open - doh! The top button, which is the 'back' button, takes you back to the app menu (icons), which fortunately has the app that you just had open at the top. Click on the app icon and this takes you back to the page in the app that you just had open. Only the Phone app contacts page seems to stay on top after screen time out i.e. pressing the top button after screen time out takes you straight back to the Phone app contacts page that you were just looking at.
>Swiping the screen upwards shows the notifications screens. Another annoying niggle is that these disappear once you have read them, so make sure that you read them properly!Read more ›
