Howard Massey is a music journalist, musician, and recording engineer/producer who was formerly an editor at various music-related magazines. He is also the author of sixteen books, including the recently published "The Great British Recording Studios," a comprehensive survey of the iconic UK recording facilities of the '60s and '70s, and two collections of interviews entitled "Behind The Glass" and "Behind The Glass Volume II." In 2006, Massey co-authored legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick's memoir "Here, There, and Everywhere," and in 2009 he co-authored "When I'm 64," a book about retirement planning (www.whenim64.com). His short stories and poems have been published in the Hudson Valley Writers Workshop anthologies "Renderings," "Ramblings," and "Currents."
