About the Author
Phil Spencer is one the best-known faces on British television, co-presenting the hit Channel 4 series Location, Location, Location and Relocation, Relocation. Phil has written regularly columns in The Sunday Times and Country Life, and is contracted to Archant publishing to write columns that are syndicated in the group's numerous local glossy magazines which are distributed nationwide. Recent TV appearances include on The One Show, Children in Need and The Friday Night Project, and Phil also regularly appears on the radio to discuss property issues.

But I enjoyed reading it and the nearest bridge to my new home is 0.46 miles.
It certainly isn't high tech, which makes it accessible but for younger first time buyers I expect they will make more use of technology than suggested in the book. They are also likely to be more interested in the sustainability side.
To be fair, this book is just an introduction and perhaps those elements are slighly more specialist. I'm now looking forward to his other book on adding value to your home.
