Tightly written and full of suspense, this book is a page-turner as it explores the compulsive behavior of all the characters. Murder is treated as an inconvenience to the main business of life - which is getting in to Harvard. Only slight criticism, is that I guessed the identity of the killer sometime before the end!

Well written interesting story, you do get wrapped up in it. It is however rather short and finished a little abruptly for my liking.

Silly short story in my opinion.
Centred entirely on individual's applications to Harvard it was rather boring. I don't know if we were supposed to be surprised or horrified to learn who the murderer was but I was just too glad to reach the last page to be bothered.

I didn't pick up on the fact that this story was a short story when I bought it, needless to say I was a little shocked when reading this book on my kindle that I'd finished it in a couple of nights. However, it was a great read and I did enjoy it, pleased I only paid 99p for it or I may have felt a little short changed!

An interesting but very short story which could have been developed into something much more satisfying. The characters were flat, the mood not quite macabre enough. I would read this author again just to see if he has improved, which I believe he will.
