About the Author

Katherine Baldwin is a writer, journalist, coach and speaker. She writes and speaks from the heart about her journey of transformation, including how she recovered from an eating disorder, challenged self-destructive relationship patterns, learned to love herself and eventually fell in love in her forties.

As a coach, Katherine specialises in helping professional women and men understand why they’re single, navigate the world of dating and relationships and fall in love. She runs 'How to Fall in Love' courses based on the 10-step journey outlined in her book and she offers individual coaching. Katherine also offers mid-life mentoring, helping people build their confidence and their resilience so they can make major life transitions, follow their heart and fulfill their dreams.

Katherine writes lifestyle features for magazines, newspapers and online publications and has been widely published in the national media, including in Red, Psychologies, The Sunday Times, the Daily Mail, the Guardian and Easy Living. She blogs for The Huffington Post and We Are The City and has appeared on TV and radio, including Newsnight, Radio 2 and Radio 4.

Katherine has a background in international journalism. She worked as a foreign correspondent in Mexico and Brazil for the global news agencies Bloomberg and Reuters before moving back to Britain to work as a political correspondent for Reuters, based in the Houses of Parliament. She turned freelance in 2008.

Tired of being single and searching or coupled and confused? Katherine Baldwin, or 'The Love Coach' as I think of her, has written the book for those of us seeking real relationship happiness. Part memoir and part self help, 'How to Fall in Love' is the definitive guide to creating the life and love you want, complete with spiritual and practical advice on how to get there. Beautifully written and honest to the core, this book is the one I wished I had when I started out in adult life and the one I am now delighted to have and to hold!

This isn't a regular or cliched How To Fall in Love book of self-help. It's SO much more than that. It's about living a fuller more authentic life, about knowing yourself and about learning to love yourself as you seek to fall in love with your ideal, or indeed your existing, partner whatever their gender or your sexuality. Katherine's style is real, honest and poignant as she takes you through her own journey and as she offers practical steps for you on yours. It's a beautiful heartfelt read, beautifully written from the heart and emotionally true. Buy it! You know you want to.

Awareness is the first step to change.
The biggest common denominator in most of our failed relationships is often ourselves.
Katherine Baldwin takes the reader on a journey of self discovery, looking at our self-sabotaging behaviours, repeating patterns and emotional blocks to commitment, intimacy and a fulfilling relationship.
This book encourages us to look inside ourselves, improve our self esteem, do things differently and set new boundaries while dating.
While reading this book you'll gain a greater understanding of yourself and how you can move forward from a first date, through a relationship and on to a lifelong committed partnership.

I loved reading 'How to Fall in Love'. Even though I'm now married, I had lots of lightbulb moments about why I'd been attracted to so many unsuitable men in the past. I wish I'd had this book in my thirties when I was looking for love!

Katherine writes in such an engaging way and reading about her personal experiences helped me to make sense of my own relationship history. The step-by-step process she shares in the book is transformative and I'd certainly recommend this book to any of my single friends who are looking for a loving, meaningful relationship.
