Loved this story, sort of forbidden fruit, but passion wins out. We even had a the sex you Kincardine join the fun. Can't wait for more and hopefully the ladies won't keep is waiting.

I've never read a book by this writing duo and I really don't know why.
Wes and Natalie have a very passionate couple, at the start I thought they were going to be one of those couples who hate each other but they weren't. They have know each other for years in fact she's his best friends little sister who he's seen grow from an annoying little girl to a beautiful determined ambitious young woman. Natalie has always had a crush on Wes and as she grew older he has tried to ignore the chemistry between them and let me tell you they are a hot couple.
I've read books before that have inner dialogue and it doesn't always work but it's an integral part of this story as we get to see what both of them are thinking. I really enjoyed them as a couple, the story doesn't have too much push and pull between them which for me was a plus.
It's a well written story and even though I tried to guess who wrote what part I couldn't.

Big Shot is a brother’s best friend / frenemies since childhood to lovers romance between two realtors with an insane level of smoking hot attraction. Mixing a bet theme, these friends wth benefits lovers soon realise that maybe, just maybe, a temporary fling might not be the real prize in the end.

Wes and Natalie have such an incredible chemistry that is displayed through the great witty banter they have. Using dual points of views adds a complexity to the two main characters allowing us as readers to get a good rounded look and understanding as the book evolves and the sizzling chemistry that quickly spills over between the two. Some of the scenes in the book were off the charts hot with sexiness that it’s impossible to not like these two sweet but stubborn characters. Both characters are strong and independent but also show their more vulnerable and very real emotions at times, adding a realistic connection between the characters and readers. The wager element of the book added another dynamic to their initial frenemy relationship in helping bring them closer in a believable way that never felt rushed, despite the short period of time in which everything plays out for Wes and Natalie.

Big Shot is incredibly well written (as you can always expect from these two authors). While it may use common themes (brother’s best friend / childhood frenemies to lovers / wager romance), the authors capture it in such a way that it feels completely fun, simple, and unique as you are reading it; I guarantee you will be flicking the pages as fast as I was to find out how this book will play out. The book is fairly fast paced, taking place over just a couple of weeks, but the longevity of the friendship between the two characters helped give a solid believable foundation to the story.

I really enjoyed Big Shot, it was a fun, hot and sexy read.

Wes and Natalie have great banter and their antics at times are hilarious. Mega competitive, Natalie does whatever it takes to push Wes to the limit, even though SHE is the one that lost their bet and is at HIS beck and call, to the point that the sexual tension between them reaches boiling point.

The pair have known each other for years, as Wes is the best friend of Nat's big brother, so they are kinda relaxed and comfortable around each other, even though they have both been fighting their mutual attraction for a while - each for their own reason. When they get together they are red hot but what happens when the two weeks are done and they can go their separate ways?

Well written, funny, with main characters that are likable and supporting characters that I want to know more about, Big Shot hit the mark for me and gets 4.5 sexy stars!
I'm looking forward to the next book from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde.

A steamy taboo romance with a great plot and written in a style that was easy to read. A really enjoyable book.

Natalie and Wes have known each other forever. Wes is Natalie's older brother's best friend, has been since they were young children. As adults they are frenemies, business rivals and constantly fighting an attraction for each other. The results of a business bet puts them in a position to spend time together, alone, and they are unable to hold back their mutual attraction resulting in hot steamy chemistry.

They might be strongly compatible in bed but Wes is a player and Natalie want a house in the suburbs with a husband and kids.

Reviewed for Amo and Sarah's Book Corner.
