I would definitely recommend this product as it is a good price.I don't see the need to spend large amounts on Game card storage accessories when this is more than adequate.
We are about to go on holiday so thought it would be a good idea to buy a cartridge holder to store all their games in. I'm sure that it won't solve the issue of cartridges being left everywhere but at least we can ensure they all arrive at our holiday destination together
On to this game case review:
It's nice and compact and it's official with the Nintendo 3DS logo on the top. It has 2 double sided flaps (see photos) that hold the cartridges very securely. The cartridges 'click' into place. There is no way your games can fall out and bounce around once secured into their slots. It holds a total of 24 games or 23 games plus the included SD card holder.
The case is well made and is transparent so that you can see the games inside. The case also has a clasp to fasten the case closed.
All in all a good quality case that should protect 3DS games very well. As long as my kids remember to put them back in there after use. Fat chance!
The case is very study and cartridges are put into place with a satisfying click. I find it fairly easy to remove the game cartridges from the case.
I have chucked this case around a lot and have had it for years, I am absolutely confident that my games are safe when in here. I put my favourite games on the first or last ‘page’ so that I can see them without opening the case. The case is as small and light as I think it could be when 24 games can go inside. I do not use SD cards so have removed the insert, though it may be a useful feature for some.
I have two of these now and full recommend them to 3DS owners, when game cartridges are that expensive, why not spend a few pounds to keep them safe?
This is different, the plastic is reassuringly firm, the games and SD card fit into the spaces with a nice firm snap, and there is enough room for a modest collection of games to be kept together. Only downside is that the SD card insert supplied either uses a slot that could have been for a game, or you put it somewhere else [meaning it gets lost] to use up all 24 slots, but that is a minor thing.
