Loved this book, gasps, shock, laugh out loud comments, and the tears took me to a point where I so needed to know what happened next, but desperately didn't want to finish it!!! No spoilers - just sit back, put aside some me time, and enjoy, you'll get so list in the story, you'll want an Austin in your life, and Gillian as your new bestie.
Having read Tackled Love, I really wanted to read more by Rachael and I am so glad her recent book continued her great writing style. This is a sweet romance story between Austin and Jillian, two people 'chosen' by a team to get married and spend 8 weeks together as a couple to see if they were correctly matched and could have a happily ever after. Followed by cameras, the characters throughout the story express their own anxieties and frustrations with the awkward situation but are slowly but surely falling in love despite the intrusions. Both Austin and Jillian have terrible childhood events happen that leaves them both dealing with life in two very different ways. Austin is very much a a live for the moment kind of character while Jillian has never felt loved and cared for and fears that she will always be let down. Austin is such a sweet man and his self awareness of himself makes this man such a 'book boyfriend' that you can't help but fall in love with him. Jillian is a self sufficient and heartfelt character that is just crying out for the love of a family she never had, to be cherished and cared for by those in her life that she never experienced as a child.Read more ›
The book was fun to read. I enjoyed the sweet romance in the story. Their romance isn't perfect and there are definitely some ups and downs along the way, but it wouldn't make for a great story without them.

And it paid off! Instead of a romance by numbers, I was treated to a touching story of love found in the unlikeliest of arenas. Skillfully written, the main characters are well developed and have a tentative, yet developing connection which jumps off the page and will have you rooting for them to succeed, despite the obstacles facing them.
